According to state broadcaster China Central Television, the
People’s Liberation Army
Rocket Force recently tested two new missiles that can overcome “complex electromagnetic interference” to destroy facilities in a “fast-reaction” operation.

“[The missiles] successfully hit the target in an enemy camp equipped with multilayer defences several hundred kilometres away and effectively paralysed the enemy’s key communications node,” CCTV reported.
In a rare move, the broadcaster aired footage from the drills in the northwest of the country and said the missiles had expanded the
PLA’s combat and defensive capabilities

If the authorities on the island (Taiwan) still insist on going their own way, we will launch a surgical strike against them. We need to take that step when necessary, and that will be a language that the DPP authority can certainly understand.

We must send a clear signal to the DPP authority and various Taiwan secessionist forces on the island: They are now merely "caged birds" and "fish in the net" on China's path toward reunification.
Under no circumstance can they be swollen-headed. They must be careful not to cross the bottom line, and to prevent the worst-case scenario which could force the Chinese mainland to resort to force.

It should not be forgotten that the Chinese mainland possesses sufficient destructive capabilities against the military on the Taiwan island.
Meanwhile, all the latter could do is causing a little harm, no more.
The DPP authority can no longer threaten the Chinese mainland. The more troubles they stir up, the quicker they are heading toward their self-destruction.

“If the Taiwan military dares to open fire on the PLA fighters, the large number of missiles aimed at Taiwan’s military targets from the mainland and our bomber fleets will make a decisive answer and write history.”

As for China’s “unofficial” threats to violate Taiwan’s airspace and potentially provoke a military conflict, Washington should definitively declare that America will help defend Taiwan. In an ABC-TV interview last week, Biden seemed prepared to take such a stand.

Trump’s enigmatic comment in 2020 that “China knows what I’m gonna do” if it attacks Taiwan, obliquely suggesting that Beijing was warned of military conflict with America. Biden’s far more specific security statement expands on Trump’s remark and seems to suggest that both administrations have conveyed firm U.S. intentions to Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

Amid frequent foreign military provocations from the sea, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) held more than a hundred military exercises across all major Chinese sea areas over the past three months, with Chinese military experts saying on Tuesday that the PLA has set up a strategic maritime defense perimeter and is prepared for simultaneous battles in multiple directions.

The Chinese mainland has kept enhancing its combat ability and its preparedness for war. It has the unwavering determination to safeguard its sovereignty.

Therefore, after careful calculation, the US believed it was not a cost-effective deal, so it made hastened retreat from Afghanistan. Similarly, the US will probably make a strategic decision to Taiwan that only suits its own interests, particularly when Taiwan's strategic value wanes while the US finds it too hard to decouple with China due to economic and trade relations. After all, the US uses the island of Taiwan only as long as it can affect China's development.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) reportedly dispatched a powerful naval flotilla led by a Type 055 large destroyer to the Sea of Japan for the second time this year on Sunday, a move Chinese military experts said on Tuesday will send a warning to Japanese right-wing forces and militarists.

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force spotted a PLA Navy flotilla consisting of three warships, namely the Type 055 guided missile destroyer Nanchang, the Type 052D guided missile destroyer Guiyang and a Type 903A comprehensive supply ship with the hull number of 903, which passed through the Tsushima Strait and sailed toward the Sea of Japan on Sunday, Japan's Ministry of Defense Joint Staff said in a press release on Monday.

Chinese Z-9 helicopter penetrates Taiwan's ADIZ for 1st time

The Ministry of National Defense (MND) reported that one Z-9 ASW and one Shaanxi Y-8 anti-submarine warfare aircraft (Y-8 ASW) penetrated into the southwestern corner of Taiwan's ADIZ.
Taiwan's Air Force responded by scrambling combat air patrol (CAP) to drive the aircraft away, broadcasting radio warnings, and tracking them with land-based anti-aircraft missiles.

Taiwan and Japan's ruling parties discussed how to handle the rising challenge they both face from their neighbour China as well as possible military exchanges,
during a virtual meeting that Beijing condemned as an affront to Chinese sovereignty.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) stayed on high alert
and closely monitored two US warships as the latter sailed through the Taiwan Straits on Friday,
with the PLA also holding multiple military exercises on both sides of the Straits on the same day.
The PLA has full control of the situation in the region, and US' provocative military activities cannot change this

With time passing by, China's military readiness will further improve,
which shows more deterrence against the US. In the end, it will be the US side which cannot sustain this trick, or it may want to continue to play its tricks,
but the Taiwan DPP authorities will completely freak out, and surrender to the mainland.
China has unwavering determination and aims to build a military capability that has an overwhelming advantage against the US.
Whoever dares to cross China's redline on the Taiwan question is seeking its own death.

From tomorrow, China legally requires foreign vessels entering what it considers to be its territorial waters to notify Beijing, creating what some fear is a “ticking time bomb” for conflict in the South China Sea.
It also gives Beijing the authority to instruct foreign vessels that “threaten the safety of Chinese internal or territorial waters” to leave and to exercise the “right of immediate pursuit.”
The Chinese Maritime Safety Administration said in a statement that the new reporting requirement would apply to all submersibles, nuclear vessels and ships carrying radioactive or harmful substances,
as well as any foreign vessels deemed to “endanger the maritime traffic safety of China.”

... the amendment could affect US operations in the South China Sea, depending on how China’s coast guard chooses to enforce the law.

I wonder if the U.S. is going to challenge this.
