Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan News [#September]

India must not like this series of developments.
Indian officials have been awfully quite agree. But India media is just eating it up, it's all their talking about. Though not much word from officials of India on the matter.

You would think with Pakistan & CCP trying to be the closest of freinds with Afghanistan that India would be much more vocal.

NATO head says alliance signed off on US withdrawal from Afghanistan:

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that the military alliance gave approval for the Biden administration’s complete withdrawal from Afghanistan, pushing back on speculation that leaders voiced objections to the decision.

This isn't just Bidens fault. All the leaders of allied nations in Afghanistan had time and signed off on Afghanistan. Not just our fault.

It’s was first an intelligence failure or a failure to heed the intelligence that the Taliban was gaining ground much faster than anticipated.
TbeirMisplaced faith that the Afghan gov would be able to hold on longer.
It was also alluded to that in the April meeting when the decision to leave was made. Our generals were objecting to when and how and our allies were stuck with the date.

There is also mentioned a “plan” for the withdraw and contingencies if Kabul was going to be threatens sooner than expected. These contingencies are never spelled out. There was also the issue of the Afghan airforce couldn’t stay mission ready because the civilian contractors who kept the aircraft mission ready were also pulled out.

One of the key diplomatic issues was that refugee groups and state department officials were pressing for the visa paperwork to be waived as far back as April. The process was going to be too slow to get at risk Afghans out in time.
There was a political decision to not do this because it was feared it would undermine the Afghan gov.
For me our Allies had no choice but to agree to the withdraw after the US made the decision to withdraw. So did they agree, well yeah, but they didn’t really have a choice in the matter.

Then there was supposed to have been contingency plans if things went south. But they never seemed to materialize or simply failed to react to the collapse until it was too late.

One things seems for sure, it undermined NATO’s unity.

Chew on this one,
Out of the 5 detainees released from Gitmo in the trade for Bowe Bergdahl
4 of them are now hold high ranking positions on the Taliban government.

5,000 Taliban prisoners were also released by the Trump administration in a deal reached on February 29, 2020.

The Afghanistan situation has been bungled by four separate administrations - two Republican, two Democrat - since the war began in 2001.

Twenty years of war perpetrated by both sides of the political aisle, and all we have to show for it is dead American soldiers and several defense contractors who made billions in profits.

And you guys wonder why I vote Libertarian every election cycle.

that true on all counts
Except there is a big difference between releasing leaders of Islamist movement and grunts.

By that logic Herrmann Goring being released would not have been any different that a Wehrmacht soldier being released.

Plan, no plan

The proof is in the results we drew down over 12000 troops over and didn’t have any American casualties for months.
We had a model where we'd made clear what our red lines were," Pompeo went on. "We'd made clear the things we were prepared to do to defend them. We could have executed a plan in a way that would have led to the orderly withdrawal."

"We would have demanded that the Taliban actually deliver on the conditions that we laid out in the agreement - including the agreement to engage in meaningful power sharing agreement - something that we struggled to get them to do but made clear it was going to be a requirement before we completed our requirement to fully withdraw," he said.

Blinken said there was no plan provided By the Trump admin for the withdraw.
Yet Kash Patal said the incoming admin wasn’t interested in any Trump admin plans.
The proof is in the pudding, successful draw down, no US troop losses in that transition. No widespread take over of the country side by the Taliban.
Then it all change and Taliban immediately began to spread and we lost troops and left Americans after we left.

Now the Haqqanni network is In charge of security for kabul.
  • Appointed to the key post of interior minister was Sirajuddin Haqqani, who is on the FBI’s most-wanted list with a $5 million bounty on his head and is believed to still be holding at least one American hostage.

And their you go two separate opinions from two separate camps.

That’s why I break the tie of who’s being close to honest by the results.
We had months with no US casualties while drawing down over 12000 troops.
while also no major Taliban expansion.
vs what we witnessed the last thirty days.
Blinken was dept national security advisor during Benghazi and Libya.
He was the senior deputy of Susan Rice.
She was the national security advisor during during Benghazi who told us repeatedly the attack in Benghazi was instigated by a obscure YouTube video of a xenophobic guy in California that no one ever heard of.
There is a track record of success from one side and failure and obfuscation from the other side.
I’m comfortable with whom I will believe

Taliban now have access to at least 20 U.S. Military SINCGARS radios (Harris Falcon III AN/PRC-160).

SINCGARS is the primary Combat Net Radio (CNR) for the US Army. It is a VHF-FM radio system that operates on any or all of the 2,320 frequencies between 30 and 87.975 MHz in 25 kHz increments. SINCGARS employs frequency hopping, as its primary means of communication in a hostile environment. SINCGARS is also capable of processing both analog and digital data in addition to handling voice communications.

No problem we left NOD’s
We can go to jail for just trying to take a pair on a vacation to Canada

Well what’s going on here? I’ve kinda waited to post on it to see if any would.
regarding the second drone to eliminate a Isis-k car bomb.
You can dismiss Carlson outright if you wish but he brings the clips talking about a righteous drone strike against terrorist and the ability of the US to conduct over the over the horizon drone strikes to fight terrorism. Military leaders defending the strike early on as good intel, all the boxes checked, even collaborating with the new Afghan government (the Taliban) in identifying terrorist threats.

Turns out it was a vehicle with a family of an aid worker in it. 7 children killed. It’s admitted by the commander of USCENTCOM.
Why did this happen?
it obviously wasn’t a legitimate terrorist threat.
Was the intelligence from our new partner the Taliban to target a pesky aid worker that offended the leader of the Haqqani in Kabul.

When SF solders are prosecuted and jailed for tactical mistakes that result in civilian deaths. Where is the demand that whomever checked all the boxes on this drone strike not charged or evidently even investigated.

The timing is even suspect, right after 13 solders and dozens of civilians are killed in a car bomb at the airport.
We execute a drone strike on a Isis-k car bomb right away. And guess what it was a car with 10 family members 7 of which were children. Secondary explosions occurred resulting in some civilian casualties. Then there was no secondary explosions.
Did US officials blindly trust their intelligence sources and not do due diligence?
Did they know and not care?
Or did they just need a lead story of the US military doing something to fighting terrorism?

It’s a nine minute video he lays out the news clips laying it all out.
If this is business as usual then we need to get out of this business.

Tucker Carlson is just as much as dead beat low life as Rachel Maddow. Anything he or she says is automatically a lie or twisted truth for the low IQ followers of the right & left.

Tucker and Rachel are quite simply the two most extreme propaganda figure heads for the right & left on mainstream media.
