It's a trial and error system, it often fails and species become extinct, that's nature.
Man doesn't have to create it, the mutation rates in a lab are way faster than in nature but the outcome is the same.
So I'm sure and some scientists believe that SARS-Cov 2 will eventually combine with all other variants and other virusses and become immune against vaccines, evade antibodies just like HIV and also become highly pathogenic.
This virus can overcome humans as a species. We might have some years left until it becomes just like the Bird Flu (H5N8) that is fully adapted to birds and kills 75% of them,
it can survive because the other 25% develope only mild symptoms and are spreading it. What I was going to say is that this virus is already there - but it's not a Corona virus and it doesn't infect many humans for now,
but if H5N8 runs out birds it has to find another host...
and there is nothing we can do.
Clinical studies show that vaccines and antibodies aren't effective against H5N8.
