Around 3h ago, Russian side has received intelligence from deserted Azov fighter from Mariupol, translation here:

  • Either Russians did not cared because it's impossible to conduct proper hostage rescue in hellish Mariupol and leveled the object of operational importance within the city. Which is sound, because situation in Mariupol is an utter hell for everyone. Every side needs all they have and that they can do. I find it possible that Russians could make a such decision that solving this is beyond possibilities and the matter of fighting in city must be taken care of quickly.
  • Either Azovs destroyed the building and left quickly because the info leaked loud online. Which is sound, because they do understand that staying there after a leak is a death sentence. Also great opportunity to get rid of those people and put blame on Russians. I'm already receiving data from Ukrainian info channels with same usual narratives of their provocations that were put to work rather quick. This might be used to bait NATO in the war by urging them once more, close air over Ukraine.
My team is trying to conduct GEOINT upon that building. But we cannot succeed yet. From footage we have, it's just doesn't look that way.

I'd say more wreck footage can tell us more if it was self-destroy from inhabitants part or an airstrike from above.
