Berlin is considering buying a missile defence system from Israel or the United States to defend against threats including Russian Iskander missiles in Kaliningrad, German weekly Welt am Sonntag reported on Saturday.

Russian flights to Kaliningrad have had to leave Russia from St Petersburg and fly international airspace over the Baltic Sea to reach Kaliningrad since this started. Belarusian flights are not even crossing over.-- Further Context on Germany/Europe defense reports on Russia

Ageis class destroyers in the Baltic would be of some help. But to really provide they will need the Thadd or irondome.
