We still have millions of rounds of ammunition to give to Ukraine to kill Russians.
 
So as we are watching the eventual fall of Ukraine, was it worth it? I feel the US overreached on Ukraine and has destroyed the western economic system. Was it worth the suffering that will happen to the Wests populations as they slide around the drain of irrelevancy and poverty. Biden will be known in history as the President that oversaw the collapse of the west. We cant fight China without putting the final nail in our power projection ability. Will their be a wider war is still unknown at this point as the US will try and avoid it if they can find another country to shoulder it for them against China and Russia. In the end we will have a broken financial system and and a massively depleted military. The US is becoming fascist and will become much worse at home as the world turns away from us.

Will all of the fallout of of our actions be worth it in the end?

we will have to wait and see but my opinion is that the US will be looked at by the world as a rouge state and even the EU will abandon the US. The warcrimes ICC scam was the worst idea as it will turn on the US in the end and Americans will become hunted down for our war-crimes. Sanctions will soon be used against the west and we will have to buy our resources in Yuan, Ruble or something else as we are broke.

The USA didnt get involved enough. The Russian military are slack-jawed yuppies who think it is 1980. Outdated, out of manpower and out of time.

I agree with you for 99%. The remaining 1% is about where you say "even the EU will abandon the US." Impossible. In order to do tthat, we should have a leadership. We don't have a leadership: we have stupid puppets. So, you don't have to doubt about UE loyalty. On the other hands, you have almost at all nations completely unable do make a war.

Siutation is very complex. No of side can win this war now.
You need to remembwr about industrial base required for amonition production.
Consideeing amounition usage industrial baae require suitable extension. It will 2 or 3 years to building su h base. Next problem is relared to equipment which also need time

Add time required for plant engineering and design

Urban Warfare is a high discipline. Look at the Germans in Leningrad or Stalingrad. Even with heavy Tanks like the Tiger they were not capable to take the Cities.

Or the battle of Hue after the Tet offensive. It took a month to retake the city and the city was basically destroyed when it was over.

I believe their definition of captured does not equal ours. Rig the area (Claymores), GPS the area and fall back. When they "capture", rain hell. Problem solved.
