In all seriousness though, I'll be watching this closely for any developments. However, I think it's prudent to note that this kind of stuff has been going on for a while and so far no escalation has taken place.

I’m not comfortable with a direct military confrontation with Russia.
Russia is just trying make Syria into a distraction.
Are we able to prevail sure. But I’m not encouraged with past performance of the political leadership (D or R).
We just need to keep a lid on Syria. Nothing has changed in Syria in a decade. I see no need to bring it to the forefront of international affairs right now.
