ADS-B Exchange

The airspace in that area is definitely deliberately avoiding Jordan, Israel, and Iran. I also noted that the typical US military aircraft that shadow the area are no longer appearing on ADS-B, indicating they shut off transponders. I am not sure when exactly transponders were shut off, but you betcha they were turned on last week.

Military flights, reasonably empty. Should have US spy planes and whatnot at minimum.
( I just observed a Predator drone vanishing off the map flying toward Isreal off the coasts of Italy)

These two P8 Poseidon spy aircraft would be interesting to monitor and see if they vanish off the coast of Italy as well. They just made a transatlantic flight. This does sometimes happen and is typically normal as aircraft do occasionally switch theaters, although it might indicate they are going to the Middle East theater as well if they vanish in about an hour here.

Both P8's have indeed vanished. A third P8 that is seen flying toward Iran from Saudi Arabia has also disappeared. I did not circle this one. It's easily expected these are being used to detect Iranian counter attacks.

Planet Labs satellite 🆕️images, released by AP, show damage to a hangar at Nevatim Airbase following Iran’s attack on Israel.

The IDF confirmed hits on several airbases, but ineffective damage, ensuring no disruption to IAF ops.

It was reported only office buildings and maintenance areas sustained damage in the attack.

Nabatim base is huge and will always be in the hearts of those who served in it. The satellite images that came up proved that beyond the damage to the hangar, its serviceability was not damaged.
