So much for uh, foreign relations? Trump practically just handed China a huge opportunity in Colombia after the tariff threats. The next country might not be so quick with folding, and if Trump shittalks them on Truth Social they're either going to get further tethered to the Global South or Europe, or China, depending on which region it is in. The only country where I think tariffs and economic punishments are a very apt thing is Russia.

So Columbia subsequently agreeing to repatriation to avoid tariffs is what?

I as many here are all for free trade. But at what cost? Theft of technology, copyright right infringement, loss of viable manufacturing jobs and industries.
The only class of people who consistently profit from this arrangement are international corporations and bankers. EVERYONE else suffers at least one place along this trade model.

We’re incentivizing chip manufacturing to return to the US. Why not demand an actual free trade environment rather than taking decades long hits to lost jobs. GDP, and technology theft.

China has used unfair subsidies, political prisoners labor and unrealistic legal demands on manufacturing to routinely profit from western job loss and gdp.
No more.

Will this result in higher cost, maybe. Those that love to point to this possibility have no problem on taxes and regulations constantly driving up the cost of gas and energy.
So I politely ask that we be spared the fear porn regarding tariff induced prices increases.

It’s immens Hypocritical to hear a progressives ask “who will pick our crops or mow our lawns?” Defending the poor and down trodden illegal migrant while being perfectly copacetic with their legal status remaining in a nebulous to ensure their wages or likewise suppressed.

It's because it's false, less than 1% of fentanyl comes into the USA from Canada. The main reason is economic, Trump wants to reduce the colossal debt of the USA in this way. Trump lies as he breathes. For immigration, the problem comes from the American customs officers, when I enter the USA, it is the American customs officers who check me, not the other way around.

To be honest, the religious fanatic statement is perfect in this instance, she just fucking told people not to worry about not having electricity because Jesus didn't have electricity. That's pretty fucking stupid.
