⚠️WARNING⚠️
A high-profile diplomatic visit being postponed at the last minute... especially one involving a major arms partner like France, is not a scheduling conflict.

It’s a clear signal that:

  • India is about to initiate a major military operation.
  • It doesn’t want allied VIPs on the ground when it does.

We are likly days away (if not sooner) from attacks occurring against Pakistan. Everyone needs to be at their highest level of observational awareness.

I find odd the lack of statements from foreign governments. Seems like nobody wants any part in this.

Everyone’s too busy managing their own chaos to step into this one. And Trump? Let’s be real... intervention isn’t even on the table. He’d probably shrug if India and Pakistan blew each other off the map.

There appears to be no political incentive to get involved by any nation, and even less emotional investment. The silence isn’t oversight, it’s deliberate distance Imo. No one wants their fingerprints on this powder keg.

I am shocked and surprised by the political unity this time. Statement such as "the opposition has given the government full support" and UNANIMOUS political agreement in India are one in a billion events. Not in 2019, not in 2017, not even in 1999.
Yes the moment we fear is fast approaching like a runaway derailed freight train going full speed. Stay safe freind. Please let us know what is divulging on the ground if/when you can in Dehli...

Governments have given condolences but that's about it really.

Trump might not care, but China and Russia would probably welcome it (it cripples India, a natural ally of the US in the upcoming world war - and Pakistan seems like a reasonable price to pay to achieve that outcome).

During the previous round there were still some adults in DC who saw wisdom in deescalation and managed to pull it off. Not so much this time around, and besides - American global influence has eroded substantially since 2019, and continues to decline.

On a humorous note - have you noticed that bad stuff seems to happen in places recently visited by JD? ;)

So have we been presented by any evidence? ( other then the official statements ) lots of those posture pictures ive seen looks like a movie announcement, militia armed with clubs, carrier photo ( looks like a speedboat sailing the wrong way )

the indian air force did undertake drills today. the carrier strike group is indeed headed towards pakistan and the arabian sea, and the army is indeed conducting operations near the border.

Translation: “I want to say in the strictest of words, the people who perpetrated this terrorist attack, AND the people who helped them plan it, are both going to be punished in ways they couldn’t ever have imagined. India’s soul was attacked, not just innocent tourists. The time has come to not only destroy the terrorists, but raze the land they have left too.
Modi’s speech wasn’t rhetoric. It was a turning point. Listening to it was... chilling at the end.

His tone, the pauses, the switch to English... it wasn’t meant just for India. It was a global message.

I’ve only heard two other leaders speak like that: Churchill and FDR.

This wasn’t escalation. This was finality.
Have a bad feeling we’ll look back on that speech as the moment the countdown truly began.

I can’t see China going after India right now or even helping Pakistan. China needs BRICS to be united to help their development. Russia is too bogged down in Ukraine to help anyone case in point Syria.
The lack of the U.N. trying to step in is what really confuses me. Yeah they’re not exactly a powerful organization but I figured the security council would’ve issued some sort of statement.

I don't think so. This person is not looking at whole picture.

Americans don't care currently about anything but themselves including Pres. Trump outside the US... Europe focused on rebuilding it's military and Trump tarrifs.

Also have doubts how well they can organize in every single western country let alone getting their people to care while their own countries are on fire.
I don’t think many people in the west even know the level of hatred between India and Pakistan.

China and India have been to the brink of war, and share territorial disputes. China has supported Pakistan. The last time the I & C in BRICS were united was in the 1950s. The only country that is hated more than China here is Pakistan.

Very very important point I've reiterated multiple times in this thread. You simply cannot even imagine the level of hate. From infants to the elderly, if there's one thing that unifies India across every field it's hate for Pakistan as you can see with every political party unifying.
