Any further terrorist attacks will be seen as an act of war.
Yep, I was watching the CNN18 live stream, and they just said that. Any attack coming from PAk. no matter if it is a "state actor" or not will be considered Pak's fault and an act of war.

One scary thing I can see, is now India seems to have America backing the term that " any act of terrorism (by anyone) in Pakistan will be considered Pakistan's fault, and an act of war..... so if that term is breached technically India could say "Well...YOU said that you agreed with us on this term, so America you go kick Pakistan's butt too!"

We're back to where we were yesterday, as if the ceasefire never even happened. I doubt they'd be able to goad either sides into another CF now that there's no trust in one holding.

If Pakistan nukes India, the entire world will likely flatten Pakistan. If India nukes Pakistan, I have a feeling the world wouldn’t flatten India.

Pakistan won’t win a conventional war with India. Which is why I wouldn’t be surprised if Pakistan uses them first.

Sound analysis - Especially given Pakistan don’t have a no first use policy.

Reading through these social media reports is rough. Lots of misinformation and missiles and drones flying, but little battle damage assessment.

Do we have a list of what has been positively hit/destroyed on either side?

A little different here because we don't have ground incursions like Ukraine.

I'm trying to plot this on a map in TAK.

Might clock off this site for a bit now for my own mental health. It's a bit strange how as long as we're at 5 and 4 it's easy to distance things in my head from what could potentially affect me in some way in the future even if I have no way of doing anything to prevent it but when it's at 3 I chicken out and decide to not really be there until the situation has calmed down. Especially with reports being sometimes unconfirmed and events happening quickly that makes it hard to keep up and just want to make me forget about this interest and hobby of mine and watch a TV show something. Should definitely be more tips on how to improve anxiety for people that just visit this site from time to time or just in general when shit like this happens. I do feel like a wuss for doing it though, but eh. I can live with it.
Understandable! After 9/11 one of the local tv channels was playing reruns of the "Brady Bunch" 24/7 and my husband and I watched obsessively -- it was just soooo brain-friendly and calming while the City was going insane.

Agreements can be and likely were reached with political leaders, even military leaders, in Pakistan.
But with the tribal lands of Pakistan, ouch!
I winced when I saw the Announcement by the US about a ceasefire. To soon and to good to be true.

Pakistan military factions could be still encouraging attacks even now.
Personally I wouldn’t even write off Chinese MSS encouraging or facilitating sectarian attacks on India.

Will this results in a default return to ballistic air bombardment like what was dialing up the last few days? Maybe / likely
And in my opinion at this point will escalate further.
I’m an optimist/till I’m not.

a line from a movie that seems to apply here.
“And they say no”
