Trumps Handling of Indo-Pak Crisis & American Soft Power

But the entire world revolves around the United States. Key difference. Perhaps I should have clarified.
It does not. Not anymore. The soft power of the US has been evaporating, especially since 9/11. The US has a military and a large economy but this isn't the second half of the 1900s. Many more countries are developed and the US's role has been evaporating, no thanks to Trump. There used to be a time you could spend unconverted USD in most of the world. Not anymore. There used to be a time where America protected you from threats. It now is seen as the threat.

Perhaps it once did but the developing nations are coming into their own. It has been a mistake to think that what we in the west regard as pax American would remain in a static state. In many ways I would argue giving India and Pakistan more room to escalate this far before any concentrated effort. Might bring some reality to those leaders what exactly is at stake with full scale war.

this is all just theoretical on my part, there is no espoused doctrine for this. It’s just my personal observation of a changing world.

The Indo-Pak discussion thread souly focuses on the evolution of indo-pak conflict, not on U.S. domestic or foreign politics.

While Trump and U.S. soft power are relevant topics, their inclusion in the Indo-Pak thread would likely lead to off-topic political debates. For that reason, I created a separate thread dedicated to this discussion.

I don't have the capacity to moderate this conversation right now, and I doubt the staff does either. If staff feel merging this back into the Indo-Pak thread is more appropriate, go for it.

But from now on will be dumping all politics stuff in Indo-Pak threads here. Thanks!

See my point.

Many developing nations and other world powers are currently changing the trajectory of their nations simply because of Donald Trump and the United States. The world has shaped its own development in the likeness of the west, in order to remain competitive.

The world has adopted US movies, US banking, USD, McDonalds, Tesla, and countless more.

Because the world stage revolves around the United States (my opinion) that means that if we are indeed that threat, the global response to that threat revolves around what the United States does.

Like it or not, the entire world revolves around what we do as a country. Russia *may* be the only exception here. They are fully self sufficient.

Actually other countries growth economically, militarily etc has nothing at all to do with Trump.
Eg. China
This example as to others have been growing for decades. World views about America also existed way before Trump. Before Trump, views existed previously due to previous American Presidents actions internationally especially militarily and interference politically in other countries.
These actions have been going on since ww2 globally. Way way before Trump. It may seem easy to point the finger at the current potus , inreality this assumption is incorrect.

And that's what's brainwashed into Americans so hard by the history books you read. Every other country is just a pawn; America is the only one with a moral compass.

It also isn't their choice to shape after America, it's called CIA intervention. "The world has adopted US movies, US banking, USD, McDonalds, Tesla, and countless more." Cia intervention.

Quit treating America as this divine thing. a culture that everyone isn't the modern day that everyone just willingly adopted their culture and molded it into when most of the toxic bullshit that led to us being in this position was disclosed during ww2/cold war OSS/CIA. prior to the OSS/CIA, America really wasn't much of a player on the world stage, nor influential.

If America is such a threat, you would think the European and Indo Pacific countries would be glad the US seems to want to pull back from being the world police to actually help Americans for a change.

Anti-American sentiment is real here.

Never once did I say that America is the only country with a moral compass.

Next do you have any documentation supporting your claim that McDonalds and Tesla were CIA projects? Frankly you’re doing conspiracy theorists dirty by saying something so rediculous.

I also never once said America was a divine thing, Bud. Your grammar made it difficult for me to respond to this last paragraph, aside from the hilariously inaccurate statement that the United States wasn’t a major player before WW2.

Now you’ve just discredited yourself.

Exactly. But, now the free buffet has dried up, so everyone’s going to war.

Play nice everyone, I'll lock thread and report it to staff. Don't have time to monitor this thread for off topic content or abuse.

(Also this. This right here is why I moved this conversation to its own thread outside the main Indo-Pak discussion thread.)

I stated that US globalism allowed for that and US globalism is a byproduct of the role of the CIA/OSS after the world war and transition period of the cold war.

The world adopted us customs and us industry because it was implanted onto them via the connections and alignments formed during the Cold war proxy grab.

The reason why you see China on the bottom of most of your products is due to their ability due to the path they have carved for them via their internal operations and foreign operations which are guided by the MSS.

The CIA is the reason why you see america as more of a financial powerhouse is because any nation that changes the currency of trade or attempts to slide off us asset benefiting goals will mysteriously undergo a war.

America can't do that with modern day China nor modern day Russia as they can with smaller countries.

The reason why many nations seek a nuclear deterrent is to stop countries like America from enforcing demandés into them and financially strangling them and attempting to impose their rule onto them via economic or militarily.

If you read the history of many other countries before the modern day CIA/MSS/SVR/Mossad you'll see that those groupings helped lead those countries to a more globalist power. Including German BND and UK SIS.

Though this story is on the prominent powers so MSS/CIA/SVR(KGB)

Really interesting topic, look at how America cut Russia off of SWIFT and they did fine for the most part.

I think the KGB and East German Stasi had a little something to do with the formation of the CIA, SIS and other western intelligence agencies.

They all caused it. It was a transitional war that caused the modern intelligence network as we know it.
