F-35 shot down: Viral images show wreckage of crashed fighter jet. Watch

BREAKING: Iran has shot down a US fighter jet according to a source familiar with the incident, and a search and rescue effort is underway to locate two crew, per Axios.Details include:
1. This would be the first time since the beginning of the Iran War that a US jet was downed by Iran
2. Iranian state media published pictures and videos that allegedly show parts of the downed plane and one of the ejection seats
3. Pictures suggest that the downed plane was an F-15E4. Iran is offing a "valuable reward" for anyone who can capture the downed pilots

This is a major escalation if true.

👉Getting 'fed up' by MULTIPLE members of forums. I am only one person and cannot entirely by myself structurally organized these forums and need everyones help in keeping it sound and easy to follow for viewers during a crisis such as this.

Let me clarify the standard here, because my point is actually very simple.

I am not saying everything related to the Iran crisis must stay in one place. I am saying the factual reporting must.

If a post is reporting on the Iran crisis, it belongs in the main report thread, KNOW IF ANDS OR BUTS, period. That is how information remains centralized, accessible, AND easy to follow during a live event.

Discussion is a separate matter. Discussion that grows out of those reports can take place elsewhere, and if a genuinely unique topic warrants its own discussion thread, that is fine. But the reporting itself still stays under one roof.

That is the line.

👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉This is not about control for its own sake. It is about preventing important information from being fragmented across multiple threads where people are more likely to miss it.

So one last time, clearly.... if it is factual reporting related to the Iran crisis, it goes in the main report thread. Discussion can branch off when necessary. Reporting does not. WHATSOEVER.

Truly genuinely do not care how important you think the information you found is it stays in the main report thread. PERIOD.

⚠️

PERIOD. There is no debate on this. This is how it is and will take action otherwise to keep organizational integrity of the forums during a crisis. Sorry I have slacked off on this.

Take ANY questions here, though this is not up for debate:

This has been your first, last, and final public warning, TO EVERYONE. I will be taking extreme measures across the board to make sure everything is in its place. I cannot any longer justify wasting my time on something that people should already know or do.

IF your report has even Iran listed even just once in its words, it goes in report thread. Period.
That is a good rule of thumb.

“One U.S. Crew Member Rescued After F-15E Shot Down

Two U.S. officials have confirmed that one member of the crew of an American F-15E over Iran has been rescued. The status of the second crew member is unknown. A search and rescue operation is ongoing.

A different U.S. official confirmed earlier Friday that the warplane had been shot down over Iran, the first instance in which Tehran has downed an American plane since the start of the war on Feb. 28.”

At least one A-10C+ Thunderbolt II ground attack aircraft has been deployed over Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province in Iran to provide top cover for the combat search and rescue team searching for the downed crew of the U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle of the 494th Fighter Squadron, which was shot down by Iranian air defense forces in the same region.
