Taiwan has received supply assurances from the energy minister of a "major" liquefied natural gas-producing country, the island's economy minister said on Saturday, speaking about the Iran war's impact on Middle East energy ‌imports.

Taiwan, a major semiconductor producer, had relied on Qatar for around a third of its LNG before the conflict, and has said it has secured alternate supplies for the months ahead from countries including Australia and the United States.

Israel’s air force has stopped conducting strikes in the area believed to be where an American F-15E was shot down Friday over Iran, an Israeli security official said. Israel is continuing to help the U.S. to track down the jet fighter's remaining crew member, the official added.

Bahrain's Defense Ministry reported on Saturday that there were at least 8 drone attacks over its airspace over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of projectiles fired at the country since the start of the war to 188 missiles and 453 drones.

During the night, a combat helicopter accidentally dropped ammunition in an open area in northern Israel due to human error. Saboteurs are working to collect the ammunition and clear the scene. There were no injuries and the incident is under investigation.

 
⚠️ The IAEA has been informed by Iran that a projectile struck close to the premises of the Bushehr NPP this morning, the fourth such incident in recent weeks. Iran also informed the IAEA that one of the site’s physical protection staff members was killed by a projectile fragment and that a building on site was affected by shockwaves and fragments. No increase in radiation levels was reported.
IAEA DG @rafaelmgrossiexpresses deep concern about the reported incident and says NPP sites or nearby areas must never be attacked, noting that auxiliary site buildings may contain vital safety equipment. Reiterating call for maximum military restraint to avoid risk of a nuclear accident, DG Grossi again stresses the paramount importance of adhering to the 7 pillars for ensuring nuclear safety and security during a conflict.
