Israeli army will not withdraw from Lebanon “despite all the existing pressures and those that will still come,” said Katz.
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said on Monday that Israel will not withdraw from southern Lebanon, despite the announcement of a deal ending war between the US and Iran, and is supposed to include cessation of hostilities in Lebanon.

“Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and I are leading a clear policy that determines that the IDF will remain in the security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza, without any time limit, to protect, from there, the border and Israeli communities against jihadist elements,” Katz says in a statement.

1. Iran, the US and their allies will cease hostilities, including in Lebanon

2. Iran reiterates its commitment not to develop or acquire nuclear weapons

3. US and Iran pledge to resolve issue of disposal of enriched uranium stockpile

5. Iran will maintain status quo on its nuclear program as long as negotiations continue
