The difference between America and Europe

Was that a Tesla?

Without meaning to offend Americans...

Elon Musk is South African and has nothing to do with Europe.
"American" inventions often didn't originate in the USA—the list is long!
:ROFLMAO:
Elon Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971 WikipediaWikipedia. He moved to Canada in 1989 at age 18, acquiring Canadian citizenship through his Canadian-born mother WikipediaWikipedia+1. In 1992, he entered the United States on an F‑1 student visa to study at the University of Pennsylvania legalhelp.uslegalhelp.us. After his academic and early business ventures, he became a lawful permanent resident and, in 2002, went through the formal naturalization process to become a U.S. citizen
Like anybody with half a brain he left canada for the US! :ROFLMAO:

The difference was between expectations of Americans and Europeans.

It has nothing to do with fleeing canada or compiling a list of things America didn’t invent.

BTW America did invent the first and best free market economy along with personal liberties.

The United States, when we are not killing you (nobody’s perfect) has imposed little and gifted freedom to most of the World IN its many liberal democratic forms.

One thing the USA gave to the world was the internet and world wide web. A few other countries had small intranets, usually military controlled, but the USA gave the entire world what they wanted: FREE PORN!

<Shakes head> Sad. So sad.

The major petition against Elon Musk that has made headlines is official petition e-5353, submitted to the Canadian House of Commons. Launched in early 2025 by a British Columbia resident and sponsored by MP Charlie Angus, it garnered over 284,000 signatures, becoming one of the largest in the history of the Canadian Parliament.

What the petition calls for

Signatories are asking Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to revoke Elon Musk’s Canadian dual citizenship and withdraw his passport.

Reasons cited
• Infringement on sovereignty: Petitioners accuse him of acting against Canada's national interests, particularly due to his role as an advisor within Donald Trump's U.S. administration.
• Political interference: He is accused of using his wealth and influence (notably via the social media platform X) to interfere in electoral processes.

Alongside these Canadian efforts, other citizen-led campaigns are taking place internationally:
• In the United States: Organizations such as Common Cause have sponsored petitions calling for his removal from any influential or advisory role within the U.S. government.
• On independent platforms: Symbolic petitions frequently circulate on sites like MoveOn to challenge his access to sensitive government data or to call for a review of his U.S. naturalization

I don't think Elon Musk gives a shit about canada! canada is insignificant, I think the state of Idaho has a bigger GDP than canada and if carney wants a trade war with the US canadas economy will be crushed, so keep it up carney and see what happens when you take on the "Titians of Wall Street"

In my eyes, what you’re saying has no credibility!
Well you’re right Canada is not insignificant to the US.
Just as it’s no more true that the US contributions to the last century are greatly overstated or imaginary.

Wow, just that!
Its not Roman Roads or Early Arabic Mathmatics, but it is 24/7 365. Most people in all countries watch it. Most watch it far in excess of work or commerce. The rest are lying.

I do not endorse it, recommend it nor tolerate it when I am in a position to influence it.

Free porn is wrong. You should always pay up front. 😇

Looks like europeans are not only more sensible with their vehicles ,but also with their road/bridge constuctions aswell. 😉🤣😂🤣
Think about it, no more on or off ramps required. Access to parking garages could be external, maximizing space.
If you drive off a cliff or slid into a ravine, you won’t. Also if they can pull that off here (they did) they can easily operate on Mars.

@Yingyang what part of this comment distressed you so?

Its tongue in cheeks.

The internet is capable of both the best and the worst; as for pornography, some videos are absolutely disgusting—I cannot fathom how they could arouse anyone. The internet has become uncontrollable; just imagine what it will be like with artificial intelligence down the line—it’s quite worrying.
