Given that a majority of Americans may eventually support a war against Russia if that isn't already the case, "The Day After" would basically become propaganda for the anti-war minority at best or retroactively considered to be outright pro-Russian propaganda at worse.
Who here believes "The Day After" needs to be edited to replace mutually assured destruction with most Soviet nukes failing to detonate and NATO achieving total victory over what was left of the Warsaw Pact?
