I cannot overstate how truly bad things would have to get to be in a flat spin AND not recover (once out of the clouds)

I cannot imagine the reasonable circumstances that could lead to this without the pilots be dead or suicidal.
And even that’s far-fetched because they would just dive it and hit the ground as fast as the plane would go or until the wings came off.

Even if they somehow iced up, lost one engine and entered into a stall spin situation at altitude, you would’ve seen them either recover or attempted to recover once they were VMC. Whatever the cause to this, it is super bad.

Very hard to believe they were this lacking in basic airmanship to stall and not recover from it.
