Trump warns of largest strikes on Iran yet as Tehran lashes out across Gulf

United States President Donald Trump says he may launch the largest strikes on Iran yet after Tehran carried out another wave of retaliatory attacks on US allies in the Gulf, including hitting a telecommunications tower in Kuwait.

In remarks to US news website Axios on Thursday, Trump said he was “considering a massive attack” that would be “bigger than ever before”.
 
U.S. Army M142 HIMARS rocket systems launched ATACMS ballistic missiles from Kuwait at targets in the Ahvaz area, southwestern Iran, during the early hours of today.
According to numerous eyewitness reports received between approximately 02:19 and 02:33 local time, residents across different districts of Ahvaz reported repeated explosions, powerful shockwaves, and continuous detonations that shook buildings and rattled windows. Several witnesses described the explosions as occurring in rapid succession, with some reporting more than ten blasts and suggesting that a military ammunition depot may have been struck due to the prolonged secondary explosions.
