[1 in 1000 Year Event]-[Whole Years of Rain Falls in 24 Hours]-[China]

Crazy. In 24 hours they received an entire years worth of rain. Apparently most deaths are from subway cars stuck drowning people alive underground. Some videos are almost chilling.

This particular area of China only sees just over 500mm a year. They recieved more than 500mm in just a very short amount of time. Talking in hourly timeframes. Yikes!

This is gradually going to become more and more common. Even without assistance from humans, climate change is a natural process on this planet.

All of this has happened before, and it will all happen again.

Yes you are correct but DOES NOT lessen the severity of the situation. Just because something happens naturally doesn't make the situation less severe.

Even though earth has heated up and cooled off in its past many times. Such things happen over many many millennias or millions of years. There is scientific data shows we are speeding up the process.....

So can we stop climate change? NO! No way we can stop any weather events let alone climate change which is a natural process.

Even if we are not speeding up the process we still need to make major natural defense projects to fight back the normal cycle of earth's Heating & Cooling Cycles. OR large parts of all this planet will likly need relocation I.E coastal and river side cities, towns, villages.

Regardless if you believe if its natural or man made we all must prepare vulnerable areas of society impacted by earth's heating and cooling cycle phenomenon events.

Agreed. I wasn't attempting to downplay the seriousness of the situation. Just commenting that with or without human influence, this was inevitable at some point in time.

The controversy is how much human influence there is (if any) on climate change.
We should just skip the human impact debate and act on what we know. The earth does this every so often and we need to prepare.

Instead of focusing on pollution on any kind ALL the money and change should go into mitigation efforts and major national programs to help beef up natural defenses in a changing climate.

Once we can safely say we did all human ingenuity, engineering, and good old American blood/sweat can do to protect our coastal, riverside, and drought prone communities and major cities that most economic hubs/cities reside in very vulnerable areas.

After we secure what we can or relocate some entire communities, than we can focus on if there is anything we can do to slow it down if at all.

I don't agree with Biden on much. But if the only good thing he has done that would be trying to retrofit our entire infrastructure for climate change. Making America more safe and stable in a changing climate.

America is so technologically dependent in every aspect, all or most of our modern grids are highly susceptible to pretty much EVERYTHING. That's gotta change regardless of climate change.
