A lot of Volcanic activity

ALSO CAN ANYONE TELL ME if it would be possible during a MAD war that Yellowstone and many many other volcanoes could go boom, because nuclear weapons can cause earthquakes, and earthquakes can cause volcanoes to boom, so reasonable thought or no?

The articles I have read over the years suggest that, while it is hypothetically possible to trigger a fault or volcano using a nuclear device, it is only likely to work if the fault/volcano was already pretty close (days/weeks) to going off naturally.

Idaho has also been experiencing a swarm of minor earthquake activity in the past few months. Since there hasn't been a large quake since the 1983 Borah Peak, it wouldn't surprise me, with all the other activity on the Ring of Fire, if a decently large quake happens soon.
