Seems reasonable enough, people often get this weird idea about machine learning and AI. For one, this is not generative AI like LLMs or anything, it is pretty simple AI - high performance pattern recognition. This is not the kind of AI that is given a mission and goes rogue, it’s like a screwdriver, it can’t turn into a band saw.
