I’m behind. he was alive but critical at arrival at hospital, was the report.

People do not (almost always) live after a gunshot in the neck.

I keep thinking of Bobby Kennedy. Temperature of the country, not comparing the men. Opinions will vary. Right now though a good man has died.

Absolute tragedy... I'd consider myself a level headed individual and open minded when in discourse with those with left sided political views. If the amount of anger and hate this has caused to rise in my heart against the left is any indicator on how those who are hard line right, I'd say this won't go unanswered. I will pray for peace even though my heart seeks War.
 
AP News is reporting that officials in Utah are still searching for the suspect. This is absolutely wild- something I'd expect to hear about in Latin America instead of the United States. Unfortunately, it seems that our society is becoming accustomed to violence to solve political disputes.
 
If conservative America is feeling even half of what I am feeling right now, this isn’t going to be pretty.

I’m beyond disgusted. There really aren’t words. His company was called Turning Point USA. I am afraid we have reached a Turning Point after this one.

Oh yes, this is absolutely insane. So were the attacks on Trump, Nancy Pelosi's husband, etc. When people start to feel that violence is the only way to "solve" political disagreements, things can quickly spiral out of control. Thankfully, the United States has a stronger history of condemning such violence compared to many nations in the Global South, but this is still very concerning.
