Cherish Those You Hold Close

Not looking for sympathy, I've been trying to help a freind and process myself within the past 48 hours with a very old freind of my'n dying and things took a turn recently. I am okay as one can be, thanks in advance, he is at peace with things too.

Just want to remind everyone to cherish those you hold close tonight. Because you never really know how many you may have left with them.

Felt I had to post this after I said goodbye to my friend tonight on the phone.

That's life until it isn't. Death is the norm and people need to realise this and accept it. Obviously hard for the first couple closest , due to inexperience. Though the faster you accept it the easier it is. Yeah you'll miss them forever and then your turn comes and others go through it ,then their turn comes and so on and so on. Tomorrow is another day.
Next week, next month, next year. Keep riding the roller-coaster of life remembering the best part to come is death-peace. No more pain no more concerns no more memories.
Just nothing. Nothing bothers you when your dead.

There's obviously nothing I can say that will assuage your pain. I figured I had to reply regardless - just because you're a decent human being.
