What's sad to me is the other day my wife and I went Christmas shopping, and everyone was rushing around all stressed out. There was no joy or happiness that there should be to celebrate the birth of the greatest man who ever lived.

Well when your credit card is maxed and you are still expected to spend a thousand on “presents” it’s hard to be so joyous.

Right now everyone is pissed off, depressed, and in pain in this country. Holidays just aren’t like they used to be. Maybe Jesus will save us all this Christmas.

Your Jesus never told you to celebrate his birth. Christmas is a capitalist holiday. Christians don't follow his teachings from the four Gospels at all. Christmas is a stupid holiday!

It also doesn't celebrate the birth of Jesus, whose actual date of birth remains unknown.
Christianity simply appropriated a pagan holiday that preceded it (winter solstice, in this case).
I agree about the crass capitalist veneer. In fact, you'd be excused for thinking modern-day Christmas celebrates the birth of Santa Claus.

I’ve been out and about and wishing everyone I interact with a Merry Christmas.
And while it is definitely subdued and tensions are high. Everyone I’ve seen responds in kind.
Does it feel like Christmas no not really the same exuberance. But it’s still there.

I especially like shopping my local food coop wearing my Sons of Liberty shirt.
They don’t miss a beat. They’re happy to be alive and let me be who I am as I do them

You’re very angry and hostile, I’m sorry you are it’s not a very enjoyable way to be in the long run.
But Merry Christmas in any case.
I hope you can enjoy some time with family and friends. Irregardless of not believing. At a minimum It’s is a time to appreciate what you do have.
