Dayton Hamfest!

I'll be at the Dayton Hamfest today. I'll have my radio set for either 446.0000 or 146.5200 if any of you crazy hams are going to be there as well. KD9BCD.
Did you attend any of the 25 forum’s? Any new ideas to advance a regular scheduled DWS Net.

I, on occasion check into the Cabot Stars Club (W5STR) weekly 80m Net. They make an announcement on FB with Freq to be used prior to Net date.

Currently working on an arduino LoRa Tx/rv 900 mhz project for long range comms for like minded network to use during SHTF, (Low power, longer range than 2m/70cm SSB, cheap and stored in small farady container).

I don't spend a huge amount of time on the hobby. Amateur radio is more about emergency operations and EOTWAWKI communications for me than anything else. But I am looking at purchasing a unit that plugs into a computer and the software allows me to use it a monitoring station. Waiting on the new unit to come out that will cover from 0.5 Khz to 1.7 GHz.
