Trump Have called Putin first and have a convocation which is being like 1,5 hours (According to russian propaganda media)

But after this “negotiation” he decided to call Zelenskyy next, Trump said that: ”We will begin by calling President Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation, something which I will be doing right now. I have asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of the CIA John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, to lead the negotiations which, I feel strongly, will be successful”.

🆕 👉 Donald Trump said:”I just spoke to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine. The conversation went very well. He, like President Putin, wants to make PEACE”.

Then he said that negotiation will go on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the Delegation.

And then summarize:”I am hopeful that the results of that meeting will be positive. It is time to stop this ridiculous War, where there has been massive, and totally unnecessary, DEATH and DESTRUCTION. God bless the people of Russia and Ukraine!”.

Zelensky:
I had a meeting with @SecScottBessent—his first international visit, which was to Ukraine. We value our partnership with the United States, are grateful for the support in defending our independence, and strive to expand our joint capabilities—especially in security.

Security matters. Moscow and its allies cannot be allowed to gain control over Ukraine, and that means we must work together—across the free world.

We received the U.S. vision for deepening our cooperation, discussed the substance of these proposals today, and are working toward a strong agreement. We expect to make progress by the Munich Security Conference.

REPORTER: "Aren't you squeezing out President Zelensky from this process?

TRUMP:No, I don't think so, as long as he's there. But at some point you're gonna have to have elections too. You're gonna have to have an election.” @atrupar.

US Defense Chief Suggests Ukraine Should Abandon Hope of Winning All Territory Back from Russia

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Wednesday that NATO membership for Ukraine was unrealistic and in sweeping remarks suggested Kyiv should abandon hopes of winning all its territory back from Russia and instead prepare for a negotiated peace settlement to be backed up by international troops.
Hours later, President Donald Trump said he and Russian President Vladimir Putin had agreed to begin "negotiations" on ending the Ukraine war. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office said Zelenskyy and Trump also had a phone conversation.

"Ukraine and Europe must be part of any negotiations - a joint statement by Ministers of Foreign Affairs of France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, EEAS, and European Commission.

Full text of the statement:
"We are ready to enhance our support for Ukraine. We commit to its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia's war of aggression.

We share the goal to keep supporting Ukraine until a just, comprehensive and lasting peace is reached. A peace that guarantees the interest of Ukraine and our own.

We are looking forward to discussing the way ahead together with our American allies. Our shared objectives should be to put Ukraine in a position of strength. Ukraine and Europe must be part of any negotiations.

Ukraine should be provided with strong security guarantees. A just and lasting peace in Ukraine is a necessary condition for a strong transatlantic security.

We recall that the security of the European continent is our common responsibility. We are therefore working together to strengthen our collective defense capabilities."
