Hello all!
I hope your week has been faring you well. I am Rainfall, Manager of the DEFCON Warning System’s Discord Support Team. I write today to announce to you all that my time as manager will be ending today.
As some of you know, I have a full-time job as a first responder. What I haven’t shared with everyone is that I am also dealing with chronic health issues that have required me to bend my schedule to make appointments. This is a work in progress, but thankfully has not made it difficult to perform effectively at work. However, I have found it challenging to navigate my responsibilities as Manager here. This community deserves a solid foundation of dependable leadership. After consultation with the directors, I am proud to announce that Kaasci/Borefella will become the Manager for the DWS Discord and transition from an acting to an official capacity. He has been a long-time member of our community and I have had the privilege of working with him in other spaces as well. This community is in great hands. As for me, I will be stepping down to a Sr. Moderator position.
Thank you for all of the great memories, for your support, and for the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful community. I do not know if he has a forum account, but please give congratulations to Borefella on Manager! Thank you for everything
