Does anyone follow this regularly

These kinds of incidents have increased greatly in the past few years. Provocations on both sides. I'd say it's just about par for the course with the hostility ratcheting up as the weather warms in the Northern Hemisphere.

K thanks
The ability to project power in and around the arctic is definitely a big deal for Russia. Can’t blame them either.

The problem is, the Russians are more than likely carrying actual nuclear weapons around unlike the NATO training missions. They can carry 6 very long range nuclear cruise missiles in those bomb bays and nobody would know.

Wow you would think with today's technology satellites would be able to pick up nuclear material-weapons by now.

Twice in two weeks the Russians have sent a fight of Bear Bombers south approaching the coast of Scotland.
Is this an unusual uptick or just training cycle.

Pretty par for the course this time of year.

Only special aircraft with chemical and radiation sniffers on them can and they would need to be very close to detect them, unless they were out on the ground or hanging off the wings for all to see.
