[DEFCON Warning System]

On November 9, 2011, at 11 AM Pacific Standard Time (2 PM EST), the United States will test its Emergency Alert System. This is a national test, rather than a local test. Many channels may be testing at the same time, so if you see the EAS all over the place, there is no cause for alarm.
