"European Council President Donald Tusk has called the US under President Donald Trump one of the external threats to the EU along with China, Russia and radical Islam. The senior EU official added that the bloc must take 'spectacular steps' to avoid disintegration ... 'For the first time in our history, in an increasingly multipolar external world, so many are becoming openly anti-European, or Euroskeptic at best. Particularly the change in Washington puts the European Union in a difficult situation; with the new administration seeming to put into question the last 70 years of American foreign policy' ... Tusk said that in addition to external threats, the EU has to deal with domestic nationalism, 'national egoism,' a 'decline of faith in political integration' and rising doubts about 'the fundamental values of liberal democracy' ... Guy Verhofstadt, the EU’s chief negotiator on Brexit, said Trump and his chief strategist, Steve Bannon, are determined to break up the European Union."

He is a threat to European stability in the current regime but he's not an enemy of Europeans. Europe has their own issues and they have always looked to the US as world leaders. Seeing a Trump presidency emboldens those who hold similar values. The problem over there with nationalism is their history with it hasn't been very positive as oppose to the US history with nationalism. We need nationalism to hold our union together, they don't need it for the very same reasons.
 
Hey Tusk, nobody likes your EU anymore lol. People are tired of the see which country funds the whole till dead game.
 
Its the other side of the coin when you want to leach off of someone else's strength. You can't complain when all of a sudden leadership changes and you have to fend for yourself. That's hypocrisy.

And that's exactly what needs to be brought up on the world stage to remind everyone that the ability to take care of yourself isn't someone else's responsibility. Global Socialism is a continued failure but the Europeans are too arrogant and stupid to see it. Well, not all of them are, just the ones who keep pushing a failed ideology.
