I was about to post this and could not find the sit rep forum. I have only neen gone a week, wtf happened? Dis we have a site overhaul?
Some users were confused about what subjects belonged in SITREP and which didn't, so we decided to clarify the issue. Previously, a considerable amount of threads were being closed, moved or deleted due to that confusion. Also, many important topics were being buried in SITREP, and many other important topics were being overlooked in other forums. The situation was a particular problem at times when the alert level was increased, and the forum was busier. So we added a filter to separate these two types of important events, increasing clarity, highlighting important but overlooked subjects, and decreasing the number of threads some users were forced to weed through. For example, users who're wholly concerned with the military activities of the present, rather than the geopolitical events which will shape the military activities of the future.

"French leader Francois Hollande called for a complete lifting of the trade embargo with Cuba ... 'I want to on the occasion of the death of Fidel Castro re-emphasize the fact that the embargo, which has a negative impact on Cuba, must be completely removed'"

I thought this topic goes in the "Politics" forum and about to post this topic too! Of course Fidel Castro who was the leader of Cuba and involved in communism died at the age of 90 last Friday, that's because he's a dictator to provoke against the United States. This can be the good news in Cuba and the whole wide world after the death of the Cuban leader Castro.
