Just read a crash investigation article on the F-35 at Elgin. The pilot was an instructor on the F-35. It seems this plane is a mess.

The Oxygen system is causing pilot fatigue, the helmet display completely distracted him by being off alignment on his approach to land, when he thought it was fixed it was actually worse, the night vision system caused him to have worse vision than normal.

When he landed he had inadvertently left the speed control set 50 kts to fast for landing because he was exhausted and distracted by his helmet which brought him in at a horrible nose down attitude causing him to land flat.

The nose bounced and when he tried to recover the tail fin went nuts and wouldn't allow him to pull up and fly away for another try. All aircraft problems but of course they are putting most of the blame on the pilot and Covid lol.
