First Vaccine Against Parasite Ever - WHO Approves Malaria Vaccine

First vaccine ever successfully created for protection from a parasite. Most advanced vaccine ever created. A absolute game changer for the world especially in low income countries:

This vaccine is obviously for incredibly impoverished countries where even having a simple window screen is out of reach for most.

BUT there are other parasites out there including in the US that cause trouble. Hopefully soon with this breakthrough we will be able to vaccinate for most parasites in the hopeful near future.

With this I have a feeling tourism for Africa will shoot up. It will be like this:

Wife: I want to see the Sahara.
Husband: Malaria is dangerous, no.
Wife: Than let's just get vaccinated for Malaria and go see the lions & zebras.

Just like you do to make sure your vaccines are up to date and a few extra if you where to travel to Asia for first time.

Why can't they just get rid of the damn mosquitoes, they are the parasites.
What is cured is the parasite of the parasite.

We could alter the DNA in all mosquitoes to be immune or unable to transmit diseases. Make a genetically perfect immune mosquito and release them into the wild to change the gene pool to make them eventually after a few dozen generations in the wild immune or at least incapable of transmitting diseases to humans.

But that crosses moral or religious views. But whatever, countries besides us are very well underway to mastering DNA altering and creating hybrid species better suited for today's environment. So doesn't matter what anyone thinks about it, it's happening, and nothing is going to stop it.

mosquitoes are absolutely essential to the food chain
They are important for a couple of species but they cause a big threat to many other species including us, they suck blood and spread diseases, the only problem is if we eradicate them with poison then the flies will die too but some of them suck blood too.
So there is no other way, creating diseases against them could be risky.

The answer is making genetically perfect mosquitoes and release them into the wild to change the wild gene pool to be incapable of catching or giving diseases. It is more than possible, but humanity has put limitations on itself when it comes to genetically altering wild gene pools or humanity itself...

We could remove cancer and diseases in humanity by removing such broken gene's in our human genome. They need to find a better word than "designer babies" because all your doing is removing cancer and other diseases from the egg and sperm. Not changing how we look.

They talked a great deal about topics like this in the 30โ€™s
The hubris of man is a vast and reoccurring catastrophe.
