One of the simple tests we're taught as first responders when dealing with a potential victim is to pinch the tip of a finger or a section of skin on an extremity and observe how quickly the color of the skin returns to pink from white. With proper health and circulation, it should be almost instantaneous. If not, there's a problem that warrants further diagnosis. POTUS exhibiting that symptom is concerning, regardless of age.

That is not a standard method for adults. First Responder here. They were very clear in class that the capillary refill test doesn't work as well for adults.
