Halal Meat (Sharia Law)

Extremely misleading. The term "Halal" simply signifies that this meat is safe to consume for Muslims and doesn't violate any religious laws.
If you want to go fully into the religious details, both Kosher and Halal meat employ almost exactly the same methods of slaughter. There is no meat sacrifice, no "chanting while watching blood drain". I'm not sure where this post got this from.

I don't see the point of this post. And this is coming from someone living in India where Halal meat has often been a point of conflict.

As a hunter who has had to dispatch large animals and even family pets. You always work to deliver the surest quickest death to the animal.
Why the hell would anyone not use a method to stun or dispatch an animal immediately. Rather than to leave them alive and having the throat cut and be conscious while they bleed out or choked to death on their own blood.
Stun the animal or put a bullet the brain.

would you rather be killed with a bullet to the brain or experience the last moments of your existence having half your head cut off. With Arterial blood spraying everywhere. As your new mouth, the severed windpipe, is sucking blood into your lungs.

Both religious methods were instituted at the time with the quickest and most humane way to dispatch an animal.
Follow the purpose of both practices and stun the first
