Not a good strategic trade in my mind.February 17, 2022 - No NATO or U.S. military assets be stationed in countries once part of the Soviet Union and that NATO "military capabilities" be removed from all countries that have joined the alliance since 1997 (The Week)
This is just me thinking out loud something jostling in my head but...the world knows where a lot of Russia's troops and equipment are concentrated right now and nuclear war may be on the horizon so I wonder if there is a scenario discussed to take them out? Its horrible to think but a first strike could take out a lot of military from Russia but end the world in the process. I know all of Russia's toys ain't all concentrated there but a majority of them are. I don't want this war to happen but I was just thinking if the world leaders had considered it.
I agree. It would trigger MAD. Absolutely impossible to consider. Not a good strategic trade in my mind.
Take out an overwhelming number Russia personnel and equipment.
Guarantee international condemnation as well as almost assured massive retaliatory strike.
