Power poles snapped, and buildings were damaged in Houma, Louisiana, after Hurricane Francine's eyewall moved through on Wednesday.

🌪 The train and parade of supercells that will produce a lot of tornado warnings overnight are starting to get going offshore. Shear is top of the chart with Francine and dry air will arrive after midnight and really enhance the risk. Already can see some supercells firing over the Gulf. This zone will translate towards Mobile and Pensacola later tonight.

Hurricane Francine left a path of destruction across Louisiana after making landfall early Wednesday evening as a Category 2 storm. Francine has since weakened to a tropical depression as it brings heavy rain to the South.
