Inside Chernobyl, scientists have discovered a black fungus feeding on deadly gamma radiation.

The truest line from any movie ever made.
“Life finds a way”
A favorite quote of my own that I use from time to time is, "Those who say life is rare and fragile have obviously never had to deal with weeds growing in the cracks of their driveway."

Life is just not always what we wanted or anticipated. Be it bad luck or radioactive black fungus. So many yard weeds where millions are spent eradicating with sweat and weed killer. Used to be seasonal foods loaded with vitamins and minerals.
My grandpa used to go out and gather those weeds to eat as they cycled through the seasons.

Let's talk about the bacteria we found growing outside the international space station, in outter space. It's not alien as it came from us. But the bacteria from (earth) has evolved to live in the vacuum of space & the radiation in it and survive/grow.

Now that imo is just mind blowing in it's own right life evolved to live in the harsh unforgivable conditions of outter space, and continues to live.

At first I thought it was a conspiracy or some ludicrous claim. But it's true. Bacteria was growing OUTSIDE IN SPACE on the international space stations exterior. Not alien, came from earth, but still, it evolved to live in space.

So my conclusion is if bacteria can evolve to live and grow in outter space on the exterior walls of the space station then there must be microbes living on other planets like Mars or Jupiter's moons where organic matter has been definitively found and water both building blocks of such life.

It makes it a lot easier to understand how life on Earth could have been "inoculated" or migrated from other places via comets, meteorites, general space dust. The scale of time involved to evolve this far is mind blowing.

There is a lot of belief that some viruses on earth have been introduced via meteorites and other extraterrestrial means.
