Disturbing news from Almaty. According to media reports, unknown persons broke into the local military biological laboratory - this is a joint project of the Ministry of Defense of the KZ and the Pentagon. According to eyewitnesses, chemical protection specialists are working near the facility.
Coming down from many sources, still looking.

Oh please Russian military no better if not worse. Remember the genocide they purposely set into effect in Afganistan killing anything or anyone that moves?
What did we do to Afghanistan? Made them stronger. Even if the right people didnt take to power Afghanistan has better infrastructure and better way of life than before we went in. Same can be said for Iraq or anywhere else we stuck our noses in. That cannot be said to any country Russia has stuck its nose in ever.
Utter lies. Soviet Union has took the whole country under their control and build a vast amount of infrastructure - hospitals, schools, tonnels, roads, everything. Americans took a couple of bases and were holding on them, nothing much else. Soviets build whatever Afghanistan had in terms of production. About this "Russians genocided afghans" - i've never heard of it, even from the mouths of the most insane russophobics around here, whose point of existence to splash mud on our veterans.
America started insane drug traffic towards north to Europe. I don't see the rise of drug dealing being a factor of "giving nation strength".
You can throw shade on America where not perfect, but the Russian leadership and military has way more issues and farthest from perfect.
Latest U.S. achievements in those regions absolutely disappointed me and a lot of people across the globe about this superpower. Their sacred war on terrorism in 2001 can ultimately be deemed concluded not when they left Afghan, but way before - in 2015, when American "war on terrorism" ended up in creation of an enormous terrorist Islamic State, that had to be taken down by the efforts of many countries, with one of the biggest contributions coming from the Russian Federation.

Over the past decade, U.S. funded dozens of programms to support a coup in Kazakhstan. Thinking, that U.S. is doing this to set up "democracy" - is way too naive, not in the Kazakhstan kind of society.
U.S. objectives are clear - to make Kazakhstan a hell on Earth, like Afghanistan, or what U.S. did to Lybia. A very unstable region to become a bleeding wound over Russia and China, with terroristic activities, raising radicals, criminals and problems pouring over borders of Russia and China. meanwhile extracting many riches from Kazakhstan soil all to themselves.

Fortunately for the Kazakhstan people, they were saved from the coming disaster by the brave decision of their higher ups - president Tokayev (and even likely with support of Nazarbayev, he's calling populace of KZ to support him), who clearly could see what is coming if they choose to "side" with U.S., and by that they chose to face towards Russia instead. For the better or worse, unknown, but this choice - a deal with Russia can be called at least a "lesser evil" for their people, instead of what the United States has planned for them.
I wonder why the big bad Russia has to clean up after every mess in the regions, that happen to has all the traces to U.S. ?

He's not wrong...
He is very right about this particular case - Russians are not leaving from Kazakhstan. Period.
This place is way too important for them, they will remain there and struggle for it as long as Russia exists, Russia simply cannot allow themselves any other kind of attention to Kazakhstan.

Joint project of Kz MOD and pentagon?
So Russia was allowing US military and KZ military to do “military” biological research.
That’s a pretty extreme accusation.
Russia doesn’t have control or hand in a foreign military research going on inside the federation?
Or is it Kz has so little respect for Moscow they would be carrying out military research with a western military without involving Russian DOD?
I’ll wait for some sourcing on that one.

I'm sorry i didn't had time to post some interesting news about punitive processes going on in KZ currently, there is something that can give you a hint.

1-2 days ago, current KZ authorities has arrested the head of KNB (National Security Committee of Kazakhstan - their special service like KGB, FSB, FBI/CIA/Homeland Security, you name it). With an accusation of treason. Also there are information revealed, that during these years, KNB had intel on certain training camps of militants working in remote mountain areas of Kazakhstan, and they didn't provide government any intel about it, so actions of special service were deemed as dangerous for their country. It seeems they've done a lot of shady stuff, and there is more details coming during the investigation process, whether will they be published or not. Maybe it is their job.

As of Russian Federation, after the recent analysis on their intelligence strength over KZ country, it turned out to be from very weak to non-existent. They have failed building intelligence coverage within Kazakhstan. On the other hand, Kazakhstan is an area where many corporations intersect, including most major ones from Russia, so probably Russian elites had some plausible amount of intel they require from their own closest sources via corporate networks and analysts.
And yes, KZ had zero respect to Moscow. Kazakhstan was quickly radicalizing and even conducting social campaigns such as "language patrols" to forbid use of Russian language, removing notifications, texts and signs on Russian language, oppressing Russians and so on. After the fall of the Union, during 90-00's, many Russians fled to Russia or were killed by locals.

As of U.S. military bio labs - these are not news, there were a lot of talks going on about them - Russia has been surrounded by many military bio laboratories from U.S. built in neighbouring countries, with the biggest example of Georgia. Possibly developing some kind of strain to target certain genes/ethnicities or simply to create tensions - it is unknown.

Sounds like Russia has as much of an internal problem as external. With70%of pop being Sunni it’s a wild card anyway you look at it.
You mention some Russia elites having their own intelligence sources in Kz does that imply greater uncertainty of Putin’s hold on power?

If you can source any reports on the bio lab that would be helpful otherwise I’ll remain suspect.

I can see why there would be an inclination to lay a lot of this unrest at the feet of the west. But as I’ve said the US and NATO seem to be taking advantage of the situation. Which I don’t agree with personally as a strategic decision on our part.
Being from the west my inclination is to ask what is chinas play in this if any. They certainly seem to have no issues forcing compliance with any Moslems that resist. That is not meant as a compliment towards China either.

This proves it was all a set up!!!
He was not the leader then yet had non stop meetings with him behind closed doors while nearly shunning the real leader at the time.

Masimov, a close ally of Kazakhstan’s founding president Nursultan Nazarbayev, was sacked from his post as head of the KNB this week after protesters

Removing the former bosses one man who can call it like it is, a Russian backed coup!!

I called this 2 days ago on Twitter, very obviously establishing a narrative for a bio false flag event... can't wait ...put simply, no one is "breaking in" to one of these facilities unless allowed or backed by a platoon... I'd say anyone perpetuating this notion without providing evidence is either intentionally or unintentionally contributing to establishing this false narrative.

They'd probably be better off doing what India does and just play both sides rather than committing to one.
Nazarbayev been doing this for 30 years already, we see where it leads to. They cannot allow themselves do it anymore.

Seems likely, Health Ministry of KZ just now said that news about capturing bio-lab by unknown forces are false.

Update:
These terrorists and protesters are possibly a work from Nazarbayev, and his KNB Chief. Also his relative - nephew was working as the first deputy of KNB under that guy, and looks like to be released after being arrested because he agreed to cooperate.
It seems, that Nazarbayev clan has accepted the defeat, after Lukashenko made a call evening two days ago and convinced him to give up. The next day, Nazarbayev's press service started to call people to rally up around president Tokayev, his clan members has bought themselves freedom and gave out all their militant forces position - this explains a tremendous success, that has been achieved by military and security forces in clearing out the hot zones.

Meanwhile, it didn't pleased their western friends. Britain is furious by his decision to give up and is calling for arresting Nazarbayev's family assets, that they own at the side of the West, with British propaganda machine starting to pour a lot of mud on the head of their old partner, immediately.
