I can't imagine that going off in the middle of the night in the house... I think I'd shit my pants waking up to that.

Just listen to it with sound. It didn't sound that loud. If it is as quite as it is in the video then I'd probably sleep right through it. Here I thought it was as loud as a fire cracker or gun.
