I can’t say if these things are illegal. I just honestly don’t know.
But they are real and they stink and go against what America was supposed to be.
“Town square” free exchange of ideas
You can argue things like this are just part of life or “necessary” to defend against terrorist or subversion or public safety.
But if you do I think you might have forgotten what the America dream was supposed to. After all it never was about a two car garage football in the fall, playoffs in the spring and the park in the summer.
It was about individuals being able to speak there mind and not be silenced.
By the government either directly or “indirectly”.

It was a smart move releasing all this. It means he controls how the twitter files get leaked, instead of some disgruntled employee.

Not arguing. Don't follow the stats to any serious degree. Wondering if you know something I don't. Willing to be educated.
Only to watch the sinking ship or Elon have a 2 year old tantrum. I quit Twitter two weeks ago. But do pop in once awhile to see the sinking ship or read what new bullshit Elon is spitting.
Really who? Cause only been reading more and more advertiser's pulling out lattly. Not to mention all the other things like buying twitter way overpriced, not enough employees nor enough money to hire the amount of employees needed to fully function or prosper.
I don't know. I didn't follow too deeply. I only saw the statement by Twitter that advertisers were coming back.

Well that says it all. Definitely going to take the word of how a company is doing from the company itself... like believing what Russia says about how "great" its military is....

So you base your belief that Twitter is failing on...what exactly? You beleive the bad news because that is what you want to hear but you don't accept the good news because that is not what you want to hear?
Yes and no. Of course I'm searching for negative things about Twitter. But doesn't make them any less true just cause I'm looking for them or listening to the media outlets that report the bad things.
I'll accept the good news. Just not going to take any info Twitter says about itself at face value. I'll let the Market and Investigative Journalists tell me how Twitter is doing.
Also, there is the "there's no such thing as bad press" idea. It's one of the methods Trump used to get into office. Scandal after scandal got him onto news channels, into papers and on the radio. It was billions in free advertising. I think Musk might be doing the same thing.
That is absolutely true. I'm not dismissing the negative things. There are indeed negative things about Twitter.
Assuming they don't have their own agenda.

Oh yea that's very real. Why usage is up. But it's people like me or doing so as me popping in (not participating) to catch up on the shit show unfolding or the most recent hot topic subject Elon is ignorantly talking about.
Every body sees things through their own lens and experience which will always lead to some degree of bias.

The evidence is out there, there was an active push to an accepted narrative, a version of truth. What does that serve, other than confirmation of one particular bias.
