Nice.

OK, had to chime in. Yea, tad dirty, so forgive me. That total number on line from the posts above reminded me of a simple question. What is a female's belly button used for?? Well, it's used as a candle holder. What???? yea, that way, you can dine by candlelight.

Durring this crisis. The very few minutes after DEFCON 3 was announced I saw 24,000 guest on and 56 members online at once. It was a time of crisis so didn't even think about to screenshot it.

Shit it crashed the website and forums for like a hour.

What's fucked up is I still feel the same level of alert and concerned as the very day we went to DEFCON 3.

Much (but not all) of the problem was an admin-ajax call. We think we have that particular problem solved, but it has fooled us before. Even then, any flood of users will overload the system. We are on a semi-dedicated plan, so resources are limited. We can't go the next level up. Can't afford it plus I personally don't have the skillset to set it up or run it.

That's somewhat sad, did you ever think about raising some money to compensate like a year worth of upgrade? I'm not sure but it probably would look more appealing to users instead of donations i think. Like the wikipedia thingy they do here and there. This page is pretty much the way to go if poop hits the fan so I assume ppl would be more willing to donate, especially now. Thats just my guess tho just wondering :p

tbh, I don't like asking for donations. Buying items though our link at My Patriot Supply gets them some benefit of survival supplies. And if people will use this site with their ad blocker off, that all is good enough for me.

I understand but the page will still crash on high demand which probably is the time where ppl are really concerned
