Excellent video. Perhaps DPRK's best missile launch propaganda piece yet.krzepice1976 said:North Korea publishes video of yesterday's missile test

Indeed, the Pukguksong-2 does look very much like the Pukguksong-1:krzepice1976 said:http://m.yna.co.kr/mob2/en/contents_en.jsp?cid=AEN20170213008551315&domain=3&ctype=A&site=0100000000
It doesn't look like anything I've ever seen before, to be honest. I was wondering what it is, but I suspect the model is domestic. Nobody seems to be talking about the launcher though. A tracked missile launcher, mind you.RiffRaff said:Is that a Russian-designed mobile launcher, or did they come with one on their own?

Though, the name gives that away anyhow. Sharper nose cone, slightly longer fuselage maybe, different engine probably. I'm not sure how much of an improvement there was however, given that they travelled the same distance. Unsure of Pukguksong-1's maximum altitude. Velocity and rate of climb is also important, though none of DPRK's missile launches involve that data.
