Urgent
Over the coming days, the IDF will attack several buildings that have been converted into terrorist infrastructure in preparation for expanding the operation into Gaza City: cameras, surveillance rooms, sniper and anti-tank missile launching positions, and command and control centers.
Urgent
️ In preparation for expanding the strikes against Hamas in Gaza City, the IDF conducted an extensive intelligence search and identified intensive terrorist activity by the Hamas terrorist organization in a wide range of infrastructure in Gaza City, particularly in multi-story towers.
Urgent
️ In accordance with Hamas' combat doctrine, the organization has integrated intelligence gathering tools, cameras, sniper and anti-tank missile launching positions into these buildings, and in some, surveillance rooms and command and control centers have been established. In addition, Hamas's underground infrastructure runs close to these buildings, with the aim of setting up ambushes against IDF forces and providing potential escape routes from the headquarters located there.
Urgent
️ The IDF also found that Hamas planted numerous explosive devices near several buildings in the Gaza Strip. These devices are designed to be detonated remotely by surveillance systems mounted on the buildings, with the aim of targeting IDF forces as they approach.
Urgent
️In the coming days, the IDF will conduct targeted attacks against terrorist infrastructure that pose a direct threat to its forces. Prior to the attack, numerous steps will be taken to minimize the possibility of civilian casualties, including targeted warnings, the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.
Urgent
️ The Hamas terrorist organization cynically exploits civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, endangering the civilian population there. The IDF calls on civilians in the Gaza Strip to avoid, to the extent possible, being present in buildings and areas used as terrorist infrastructure or in areas of active combat, for their own safety.
