Oh that brings me back to high school trig... one of the mnemonics to remember sin/cos/tan. "Some old horse caught another horse taking oats away."

I also used "oscar had a hold on arthur"

Yeah, geometry, trigonometry, calculus. Those were really valuable classes that helped me in life. When was that last time I used any of that stuff? Oh yeah, when I was in those classes!

I actually used it a lot. Far more than I expected at the time. Hopefully computers have made my incredibly slow slideruler (round actually) output unnecessary.

You know what I learned from trig? I learned about the beautiful symmetry of math geometry and the real world. That was it but it was worth it.

That and pi is one of the most wonderful expressions of Culinary specializations in all of creation.
