Is this Poland's response to Russian Iskander missiles?! Really?? .......

This is interesting, especially with the recent show of force in Kaliningrad. Poland might be foreseeing a large deployment of Russian troops in the Oblast.

I wonder. Could you put a RAM mount on the Centurion land based CIWIS platform, and could it engage a STONE close in? Co-site it with a standard Centurion platform on likely targets and approaches? It will cope with BM21's and Grad's, ASM's...cheap and fast counter, comes in a conex can, so its unobtrusive.

Maybe as a defensive measure but I agree. What good will towers do against missiles? All it really does is create more targets for the missiles to hit.

Agree. Only possible advantage is maybe 30 min. Notice of increased activity or movements. I guess Poland has reverted back to the 1300s and designed a 'defense' more appropriate for watchman on the towers to see an army advancing on a castle.

Good point! Just hope RF doesn't coordinate movements with ECCM jamming. But if I wer a Pole, I'd be laughing at this if it's an attempt to makeme feel safe
