President Trump has been impeached by the House majority on two accounts.

No matter where you stand on the verdict, history has been made tonight in the House of Representatives. President Donald Trump has been impeached on both articles proposed, and his removal from office now depends on the vote by the Senate.

His removal ain't happening, and the Democrats just gave a big boost to his re-election in 2020.

The independents (who the Democrats need to win a Presidential election) are not happy with Impeachment.

The outcome of the Senate trial is pretty much set in stone, but I would argue this is still a permanent stain on his reputation, and should lead to an overall loss of support among voters. I know how loyal his following is, but do you really think they'll turn a blind eye this? How many would care to say they re-elected a man who was impeached, even if he wasn't removed from office? Even if the majority of his supporters agree with the GOP that this trial was all a sham backed by political motives, I still think it will weigh heavy on peoples' conscience when they're called to vote.

I'm an independent in favor of impeachment by the way. Not happy with, but in favor of.

The fact that he was ONLY impeached by his political opponents and none of his own people shows the truth. Sometimes numbers do speak louder than words.

This is a complete abuse of impeachment process to attempt to mess with the re-election of the President. People are not as stupid as the Democrat party (National Socialist Party) think they are. This will backfire on them in the end.

This is exactly right. The House Democrats pushed through an impeachment vote they knew they would get despite being fully aware that it's not going to go anywhere in the Senate. Huge waste of time, effort, and tax dollars. And whatever their true motives might be they're coming off as spiteful crybabies who just don't like the fact that Trump is in office. All they have accomplished is sealing his re-election next year, especially since the Democrats still can't produce a viable candidate to go up against him.

They also gave a boost to the value of the unopened bottle of discontinued Trump brand vodka that I purchased before the primaries. It's now worth over $1,000 and it continues to go up. I suppose I should send Pelosi a thank you card for that.

No matter what Trump will go down in history as the thrid president to be impeached. Nothing will change that, and that is what the history books will say.

Very happy that Trump will go down in the rest of history as a impeached president. Again nothing will change that fact.

His name is forever tarnished in history.

----

How I feel:

Keep praying/hoping that all this stress just gives Trump a fatal stroke or heart attack. Rather have our ballless bitch vice president as our leader than Trump.

Hateful and spiteful useful idiots (personal attack removed - DEFCON Warning System) are one of the reasons why this country is falling apart and facing the possibly of real and deadly civil disorder. You're so shortsighted you don't even realize a Pence, Biden, or Clinton presidency is a recipe for disaster

By all means, keep helping other morons show the world how weak and divided America has become by wishing death on a man who did nothing that harmed you, your family, friends, or country.

Considering that his job approval rating has gone up throughout this whole process rather than down, I wouldn't take that bet.

I don't debate US politics but I honestly do respect your views and everyone else's no matter what party. People are going to do and believe whatever they want and there is no changing that so why bother imo.

I just don't respect Trump at all & his VP, I've already made my views clear on that 😂 BUT have nothing against his supporters or Republicans.

If anything I feel bad for Trump supporters & Republicans for all the flak they are getting from the leftist in America. It's one thing to attack the elected officials, but attacking people for what they believe is wrong.

Be careful what you wish for. Sometimes its better the devil you know. I think the democrats are actually nothing more than neo-nazi's myself who have a plan to turn America into an Empire rather than a republic. Their wanton aggression under Obama left the world at the precipice of nuclear war. Those who were not following the underground news network at the time will be unaware of how close we came during those Obama years to the end of humanity.

Google the Obama Coup in Ukraine(2011-2014) promoting Nazi parties into power which resulted in Russian invasion of Crimea. Also Google Captain Heather E Cole and the refusal to follow orders from Obama to launch nukes on Russia.

At least Trump has been mostly peaceful thus far and has done a lot to start building dialogue with North Korea whilst peacefully addressing the Chinese economical power creep. I will say in balance that i find his policy to build a wall with Mexico to be a bit odd/extreme. There might be some truth to the theory that the deepstate control all the parties and will do what they like anyway. But this is the problem with the Centralisation of power.

Oh I agree 1000% on that. The problem with this country is that people are unwilling to see those who they disagree with politically as people. Instead, they divide themselves and view the other side as "the others". It's been slowly going this way ever since the days of Nixon, unfortunately.

Yes the country is so divided that we are attack the average Joe for what they believe in and it's wrong.

It's a different story to attack/smear the elected officials. Just don't attack the average Joe.

If you can't handle someone criticizing an a elected official you like without attacking said person criticizing, then you should stay out of politics.

Also, it seems that people tend to view the party they like as being completely infallible, and refuse to acknowledge when they do something wrong. It's because of this that I've decided to stay out of the Republican-Democrat dichotomy. To be quite honest, all of the presidents who have been around in my lifetime have done terrible things, but they've all done some great things as well. I tend to consider myself more progressive, but I definitely feel that the best president in my lifetime was George H.W. Bush. People need to take a step back and look at things from a more neutral point of view. But, of course, given the fact that so many people live in political echo chambers, especially with the rise of social media, that's quite a tall order.

Yes you should be neutral if someone is critical against a official.

You need to defend your opinion without attacking the average Joe on what they believe in.

But Instead of attack the average Joe, you should make a arguement for the official. Not attack the average Joe.

Instead of attacking each other, we should be defending what we believe in through the officials that are elected.

The moment we attack the average Joe on what they believe in, that's when we lose ourselves.

Google the ... Coup in Ukraine(2011-2014) promoting ... parties into power which resulted in Russian invasion of Crimea.
I went back through my archives and found some useful links on the subject. My interest in this is not political, but biblical (Daniel 11:40-45). In 2014 the US worked to influence the Ukrainian Government away from the Pro-Russian leader Yanukovich to install a new Pro-Western Government lead by Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk. There was a leaked phone call that made headlines that showed those devices. Those actions most certainly contributed to Russia annexing Crimea etc...

Regarding impeachment by the house.
Pretty much accepted historically the impeachment of Johnson was political and policy drive not high crimes and misdemeanor. He was implementing Lincoln’s policies before he was and in the way of carpet bagger policies against the south.
Regarding Clinton’s even republicans admit today’s it was a mistake politically to do it and got him re-elected.
Same will be said of Trump in History.

Impeachment it to remove a threat to the nation when the elections cannot be waited on.
None of the three impeachment’s in our history are or will be seen as much of a stain on those Presidents.
Historically they will continue to portray the minority power as lashing out politically against the president in office.
Nothing more nothing less.
