Now, the question is: What does that mean? How will they work with them?

Is Russia just going to make the same demands they did before? Or is Russia willing to move its position?

We should get an indication of how the war is going for Russia based on what they propose. I'll be very interested to see how this pans out. Either way I hope we see a quick end to the fighting.

I still don’t think they will relinquish much of anything. It is not evident yet if this will drag on too long for Russia to support.
It is how ever a hopeful sign

Putin always wanted to talk when he gains an advantage from it on the battlefield.
He tries to stop or to pause the arms supplies, meanwhile he doesn't stop conquering Ukraine.
