Those are really great! The bloke has a great eye for detail, and the panel of the engineer contorting through 2 small hatches three feet apart to get at some thing in the middle, brilliant! Huddled in the rain in the outer bumfuzzle...mud and bugs. Grinding work interspersed with crushing boredom and raw terror! that's the heart of aviation, military or civil. The thing he really captures is the love.
I have been stabbed, shocked, burned, crushed, cut, gouged, scraped, abraded, welded, torn and chewed by my aeroplanes, let alone all the other times they had more actively tried to commit in-flight homicide. Every single day (particularly on payday) I would swear 'Never again! No more!', and promptly go back for more .
